Led the end-to-end frontend development for PennyPet, an innovative French neobank startup. This project involved building the mobile application from the ground up, with a strong focus on delivering a high-quality user experience under demanding startup conditions. The engagement required significant autonomy and rapid decision-making to meet critical deadlines tied to the company's funding rounds. As the sole frontend developer, I was responsible for architectural choices, implementation, and ensuring a responsive and intuitive interface using modern web technologies. Successfully launched, the application played a role in PennyPet's growth trajectory, ultimately contributing to its recognition as one of Challenges magazine's '100 startups to invest in in 2024'.

React Native
The primary challenge was to develop and deliver a fully functional and robust mobile application frontend within an extremely tight timeframe. As a startup actively seeking funding, PennyPet operated under intense pressure to demonstrate tangible progress and a compelling product. This necessitated a development approach that prioritized speed, efficiency, and a high degree of independent decision-making to navigate unforeseen complexities without impeding the critical project timeline.
I took full ownership of the frontend development, leveraging React Native for cross-platform compatibility and TailwindCSS for efficient and scalable UI styling. My approach emphasized autonomous decision-making and rapid iteration, allowing me to quickly translate design requirements into functional code while maintaining architectural integrity. By streamlining workflows and proactively addressing potential bottlenecks, I ensured that development milestones were consistently met, directly supporting the startup's critical funding objectives.
The successful and timely delivery of the mobile application's frontend provided PennyPet with a market-ready product crucial for their investor pitches and subsequent funding rounds. My contribution enabled the startup to present a polished and functional application, demonstrating their technological capabilities and vision. This rapid development effort ultimately contributed to PennyPet's significant achievement of being listed among Challenges magazine's '100 startups to invest in in 2024', underscoring the project's impact on their growth and recognition.
